Early Season Rock Climbing

So far due to the mild weather spring has come early. From reports, I hear that Skaha in Penticton, Cougar Canyon in Vernon are good to go. And from past experience that would mean, the Beach in Kamloops is in, as well as a lot of the Kelowna rock. Only numb fingers are your obstacle and if the wall is in the sun then you are probably in a T-shirt.

Have fun out there!

Exciting Times for Local Rock Climbing!!

Valhalla has put our guide books in their store! So cool! It's nice to get accepted and not denied for the hard work! Either way that makes Wearabouts in Salmon Arm and Valhalla Pure in Vernon. Next will be the Valhalla Pure in Kamloops and Valhalla Pure in Revelstoke. And I think that will be sufficient.

The Next exciting news for Shuswap Climbing is the new edition of Shuswap Rock. Doug Mongerson and I (Jordan Pack) have agreed to start on a new guidebook for all the Climbing in the Salmon Arm Area. Which is quite a bit actually. I'm super excited! Pictures, a new layout and all available online.

Can't believe it so apparently if all goes as planned this next coming season will be PHENOMENAL for new Rock Climbing Guidebooks:

1.)Revelstoke Rocks, Revelstoke
2.)Aberdeen Columns, Vernon
3.)Sicamous/Mara Climbing Guide, Sicamous
4.)Kamloops Climbing Guide, Kamloops
5.)Shuswap Rocks, Salmon Arm

That pretty well covers the whole area!

Good stuff all. If it wasn't so cold I'd be rock climbing right now!

Ice Climbing is in, apparently and soon I'll post on what's happening in the local scene. If there is anything...
